Lost on an island

Resource families can feel as though they are out on an island, isolated from any support. Some families feel they have been shipped to the island, where others have placed themselves there without knowing it. This workshop will look at attachment issues between resource families and their agency as well as how to establish an effective, stable support network. The upcoming changes that from the Family First Preservation Act will also be incorporated.
